There is a growing literature suggesting that the most important thing individuals may be able to do today is to simply talk about climate change whenever you have the opportunity. Talking to family, neighbors, friends, and even complete strangers can have an impact, and can help counter climate denial, even if such engagement is uncomfortable. Some research suggests that simply hearing about climate change from multiple sources influences the priority people assign to the problem. And the more other people concerned about climate change hear it talked about, they more they'll talk about it (a virtuous circle!).

We’ve listed a small selection of relevant resources for talking about climate change below (news stories and videos). There’s far more in the Climate Web itself, since climate communications are a massive topic, but this will help get you started.
